Sebastian Belmark is Senior Finance Manager at ECCO Group. He supports the operational development and financial management of portfolio companies, with a particular focus on financial restructuring and performance improvement. His responsibilities also include the analysis and optimization of finance and controlling processes as well as the implementation of operational and commercial initiatives aimed at sustainably improving company performance.
Prior to joining ECCO Group, Sebastian spent several years in strategy consulting and M&A, advising financial institutions and companies on performance improvement, M&A transactions and transformation initiatives. He gained experience across the full transaction lifecycle, from due diligence through post-merger integration and carve-outs to the implementation of value creation initiatives. In addition, he worked in Group Financial Controlling at a leading Scandinavian insurance company, where he was responsible for the quality and integrity of external group financial reporting. This combination of finance, transaction and transformation experience shapes his contribution to the operational development and value creation of ECCO Group’s portfolio companies.
Sebastian holds a Master of Arts from King’s College London and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Copenhagen.
